Submitted for the approval of the Jenkintown horror community, we ask you to leave the comfort of the light and step into the world of the supernatural with us at our 3rd annual TerrorThon from October 3rd to 5th! This 3 day event celebrates all cross sections of the horror genre, featuring iconic slashers and classic monsters to foreign cult classics. Day two continues with a Universal Classic starring Lon Chaney Jr-THE WOLFMAN! 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝘁 hiwaytheater.org/terror

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲: Lon Chaney, Jr. stars in this horror classic about a practical man who returns to his ancestral home in Wales and saves a local girl from a werewolf. During the attack, he is bitten and subsequently cursed by the lycanthrope! Now when the moon is full, he undergoes a torturous transformation into a savage beast. Critically praised for its gripping story and innovative makeup effects, THE WOLF MAN kickstarted the second wave of the Universal Monsters dominance on the horror film genre. Featuring standout performances from Chaney Jr., Claude Rains, Evelyn Ankers and Ralph Bellamy.
